COVID statement 2021

Almost Paradise Cottage Retreats was given approval to open by Grenada’s Ministry of Health and the Grenada Tourism Authority in January 2021 after showing that the required COVID-19 protocols are in place.

We have introduced physical distancing protocols, additional hygiene and sanitisation measures, and added advisory signage throughout to ensure both guests and staff remain safe. Staff are fully trained in all aspects of these new protocols, with appropriate personal protective equipment worn accordingly.

Due to the additional sanitisation measures, we are no longer able to rely solely on our preferred eco-friendly non-chemical cleaning products. Instead, we now use approved anti-bacterial cleaners for all surfaces in the cottages, bar, restaurant and kitchen.

The layout and position of our resort means it is naturally suited to physical distancing, privacy and open air living. Each cottage includes a kitchenette, so meals can be prepared privately.

In relation to the visitor quarantine requirements that have been put in place by the Ministry of Health, Almost Paradise is not a Government Approved Quarantine Accommodation, but we are more than happy to receive guests once they have completed the necessary quarantine period.

For more information about the current entry and quarantine requirements when visiting Grenada, please go to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 website.

Please note that, due to COVID-19 restrictions, some events may not be taking place as usual, and some of the smaller restaurants and bars may not be open yet.

If your booking has to be cancelled or amended due to COVID related issues, we will offer a full refund if we cannot accommodate a change in booking dates.

If you have any concerns or questions in relation to the above, please get in touch.
